Maasai Mara

Named after the Maasai people of Kenya renowned for their red colour over their bodies and in the red clothing they rap themselves with, these are the beautiful people in media coverage world over with their unique dancing characterized by the up and down jumping movements. You may have come across a replica of such a dance if you hit the cinema in 2018 to watch the famous Black Panther movie! The Maasai live in small huts with their pride hidden in herds of cattle that graze along the wild animals.
The wildebeest mass movement is among the great works of nature to watch out for in Maasai Mara in search of pasture ad water during the dry spells.

These are usually accompanied by significant numbers of Zebras and gazelles. Because of this migration one gets to watch fast hand the predators traversing the Serengeti and these include, lions, leopards and cheetahs. In Maasai Mara one gets to enjoy the crocodiles and hippos as well.

Want a selfie with the mighty African elephants, Tsavo is the place to be. Apart from the selfies, it is a haven for everything geographically beautiful in Kenya. Here are the Mzima springs, volcanic hills, plateaus, savannah and not forgetting strategically located between Mombasa and Nairobi.

Lake Nakuru National Park

The thousands of flamingos make it look like Lake Nakuru has a pink covering and there is diversity ranging from grasslands, ragged rocks and woodland. Speaking of woodland, this is home to the biggest forest of majestic succulent trees in Africa.
The diversity at Lake Nakuru National park includes over 400 bird species, pythons, warthogs, water bucks, lions and leopards.
On a serious note though, a ride in a Kenyan matatu maybe an unforgettable experience, once
